The Season of Snow has Begun

“The first fall of snow is not only an event, it is a magical event. You go to bed in one kind of a world and wake up in another quite different, and if this is not enchantment then where is it to be found.” J.B Priestly

We got our first six inches of snow on the night before Thanksgiving. Wonderfully enchanting indeed! Family came up to the cabin and deep fried a turkey for Thanksgiving with equipment that my brother hauled up.  So nice to keep the turkey cooking outdoors!

Here are our first pictures of winter a month ahead of time!

Look at all that snow! So pretty stuck to the trees.

My mom at the top of Mount Willard in her new snow shoes! Quite the view up there.

We all had a fantastic Thanksgiving!  The snow definitely added a bit of enchantment for all.

Happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah to all of those who celebrate.

Ciao for now!
